Lesley Symons

Lesley Symons is a Managing Director of Evercrest and a senior legal, regulatory and governance advisor with more than 30 years’ experience across financial regulators, global financial institutions and private practice. She advises on regulatory frameworks, governance structures and compliance systems that support effective supervision and market confidence.

Lesley has worked on both sides of the regulatory environment. She has led national enforcement and investigation functions within a major financial regulator and later held senior executive roles within large financial services organisations, overseeing legal, governance and regulatory transformation programs. This experience provides a practical understanding of how regulatory frameworks are developed, implemented and tested through supervision and enforcement.

Her work focuses on designing governance and regulatory architectures that translate policy into operational frameworks, enabling regulators and institutions to implement credible and resilient oversight environments.
